Web Training Account and Training Packet Request Form

Effective October 12, 2017, there will be two parts to web training sessions.

The first part will consist of readings, video tutorials, and exercises. This training is expected to take between 2-3 hours to complete, depending on how many templates trainees need to know how to use.

The second required part will be a one hour in-person training session during which the digital communications editor will go over the answers to the exercises and answer questions.

Upon completion of both parts, the trainee will receive access to UMass Boston’s content management system, ExpressionEngine.

In order to get a training edit account and a training packet, you must fill out this form.

Because you need to receive and complete the exercises in the packet before the in-person training session, you will need to have requested the packet at least 24 hours before the start of the in-person training session to attend.

Note: Web training is for people who have been assigned to edit part of the website. Students need to be in a web editing capacity for at least two semesters.
