2013 Hispanic Writers Week: April 26 Events

Hispanic Writers Week, an initiative of UMass Boston's Institute for Learning and Teaching (ILT), is an innovative, weeklong initiative that introduces Latino literary professionals from all corners of the Hispanic world to local Latino students. In 2013, it's happening April 22 through the 26.

Monday, April 22–Friday, April 26
Writers in Residence

Published Latino writers and poets work in Boston Public School classrooms throughout the city with the goal of producing a student publication of literary work at the end of the week and cultivating students’ awareness and appreciation for Hispanic literature, culture and writing.

Noche Bohemia

7 p.m.: Food
8–10 p.m.: Readings

A bohemian night with live music, readings from invited writers, special performances, delicious food, a cash bar, and a special time to gather entre amigos.
