Addiction: An Academic Perspective
Join Students for Recovery to hear UMass Boston faculty discuss substance use from the perspective of multiple disciplines. Topics will include: connections between drug use and incarceration, health and wellness in severely distressed communities, brain pathways associated with drug-seeking and drug-taking behaviors, representations of addiction in American popular culture, and more. Light refreshments will be served.
