AUDITION - Theatre Arts, Comedy of Errors
The UMass Boston Department of Performing Arts invites all students to audition for our spring mainstage production.
The Theatre Arts program will be presenting William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors, directed by Daniel Gidron.
Auditions will be held February 7 and 8 at 6 p.m., with callbacks on February 9 at 6 p.m., in the University Hall Theatre.
Production dates are April 6 to 9, 12 to 14, 2017.
Auditioners should prepare a short monologue or soliloquy from the works of Shakespeare, preferably from a comedy. Auditioners will also be asked to read from the play during the audition.
Comedy of Errors is a farcical comedy, one of Shakespeare's earliest and shortest works, filled with slapstick, wordplay, and mistaken identities.
