The UMass Boston Performing Arts Department presents the Theatre Arts Program Fall Mainstage Production — Bat Boy:The Musical, story and book by Keythe Farley and Brian Fleming, music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe, directed by Carrie Ann Quinn, MFA. The show runs from December 1-3, 7-9, at 7:30 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee on December 3.  

Torn from the pages of the Weekly World News, Bat Boy: The Musical is a comedy horror show about mysterious half-boy, half-bat, discovered in living in a cave in Hope Falls, Virginia. 

The production marks the first mainstage show in the newly completed University Hall Theatre, a state of the art black box theater in the newly opened University Hall, built to showcase the talent and growth of UMass Boston Theatre Arts students.  

Tickets: $15 for students, $20 for the general public
