Join the conversation and come to the American Studies Department's panel discussion with musician, author, and founder of the Afro Asian Music Ensemble Fred Ho, Hazel McFerson (George Mason University), filmmaker Regge Life, Dr. Scott Tang (Trinity College), and Cedric Woods (UMass Boston's Institute for Native New England Studies) take on the complicated and important history and current state of social and cultural relations between African Americans and Asian Americans. The discussion will be moderated by the UMass Boston English Department's Rajini Srikanth, and Barbara Lewis of the William Monroe Trotter Institute for the Study of Black Culture will comment.
