Brain Science and Leadership

Center for Collaborative Leadership Workshop attendees
Event Date: May 10, 2016 - 8:30 a.m.
Event Type: Open to public
Location: Westin Copley Hotel

Neuroscience is changing our understanding of how the brain works -- it is not designed for multi-tasking. In this fast-paced, 24-7 world, our brain goes into overload, and we create a vicious cycle of working harder without actually doing more. This is not a healthy precedence for leaders, nor does it set the stage for an effective organization. By the end of the day you will gain valuable tools that will enable you to align your actions with clear priorities. In addition, you will learn to develop habits and practices that strengthen your resilience, increase your capacity and deepen your leadership effectiveness and impact. This workshop will be experiential. Facilitated by Jen Cohen of Seven Stones LeadershipPlease click here to register for this workshop.

Brain Science and Leadership is a Master Class Workshop offered by the Center for Collaborative Leadership in partnership with Seven Stones Leadership. The workshops are intensive executive level sessions that teach skills that will provide participants with a means to continue their growth as a leader. Each workshop offers a full day of highly interactive programming that combines core knowledge and real-world solutions with frequent exercises and discussion forums. Participants can sign up for the whole series, or pick and choose the workshops that suit their needs. Classes are scheduled to start at 8:30 am and run until 5:00 pm.
