The Confucius Institute is honored to have Professor Haifeng Liu, PhD, with us to share his expertise. He is director of the Institute of Education and head of the Exam Research Center at Xiamen University. Professor Liu is also a leading expert on the high stakes college entrance examination (also called Gaokao) in China.

China has been struggling to find a balance between the traditional Chinese model and Western approach to college entrance exams.

A light lunch will be provided between noon and 1 p.m.
