NAGPRA: A Reflection of 20 Years in New England
On April 4, from 4–5:30 p.m., Dr. Rae Gould (UMass Amherst) will discuss the complexities of the North American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) in New England. A member of the Nipmuc Nation, Dr. Gould is the Repatriation Coordinator for UMass Amherst and has published work on indigenous archaeology and federal acknowledgment.
