The Consortium on Gender, Security, and Human Rights is sponsoring this event, which features Shadia Marhaban, president of the Aceh Women's League.

Marhaban, the only woman delegate to the 2005 Helsinki peace talks that ended 30 years of conflict between the Indonesian government and the Free Aceh Movement, will reflect on her experiences and the current gendered realities of peace negotiations.
