#Linsanity Remembered: On the Canonization of Asian America in the Digital Age

The Institute for Asian American Studies invites you to hear Konrad Ng, director of the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program, speak at UMass Boston as part of the Takayanagi Speaker Series.

Ng is responsible for initiatives, public programs, and exhibitions about the Asian Pacific American experience in Smithsonian museums and centers.

He was previously a professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s Academy for Creative Media. His scholarly and professional work explores how Asian and Asian American communities use cinema and digital media to engage in cultural preservation, political representation, and community mobilization.
