Master Class: Conduct Difficult Conversations with Ease and Confidence
Difficult conversations are about being receptive to what people are saying. The better you are able to do that, the easier it becomes and the fewer difficult conversations you will need to have. Learn to shift your mind from right vs wrong to having a learning conversation, and using curiosity to explore the multiple perspectives. Enhance your learning experience by registering with three or more coworkers. Learn together with your team while addressing issues specific to your organization. The instructor, Amy Rebecca Gay, PhD, is a coach, consultant, and mediator specializing in building capacity with organizations, teams and individuals to productively discuss difficult issues, work effectively across business units, and build relationships with strategic business partners.
This offering is from the Center for Collaborative Leadership's Master Class Series. If you only have a day for leadership development, the Master Class Series will deliver skills to address current pressing business needs using our unique collaborative platform. This year's focus is on effective communication. Join us to learn how to communicate effectively to enhance your impact in the workplace. Take as many or as few classes as you like. Those who complete all four will receive an Effective Communication certificate of completion and be invited to a graduation ceremony in June. Program fee is $250 / class. The fee includes breakfast, lunch and instructor materials. The class runs from 9 am to 3 pm.
