Master Class: The Art of Listening
Do you actively listen when someone is speaking, or are the wheels in your head turning 500 MPH figuring out how to respond? The simple act of listening can transform a workplace culture where every idea is embraced and encouraged. The entire team will feel and be more productive and engaged. In this class, you will learn to use the skill sets of improvisation to become a better and more active listener. Facilitated by Norm Laviolette and Chet Harding, Improv Asylum.
This offering is from the Center for Collaborative Leadership's Master Class Series. If you only have a day for leadership development, the Master Class Series will deliver skills to address current pressing business needs using our unique collaborative platform. This year's focus is on effective communication. Join us to learn how to communicate effectively to enhance your impact in the workplace. Take as many or as few classes as you like. Those who complete all four will receive an Effective Communication certificate of completion and be invited to a graduation ceremony in June. Program fee is $250 / class. The fee includes breakfast, lunch and instructor materials. The class runs from 9 am to 3 pm.
