Master Your Mind, Power Up Your Performance: An Intro to Meditation and Mindfulness
Join University Health Services Health Education and Wellness and the Office of New Student Programs as we launch our Fall 2013 Wellness Wednesday series. This fall you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops and activities to cultivate mindfulness. This is a fun, interactive workshop which educates participants about the evidence supporting how meditation and mindfulness techniques can help us enhance performance and manage daily stress more effectively. It offers really easy, accessible techniques that people can use anytime, anywhere, and touches on how participants can implement these practices daily.
Presenter: Stacy Slawitsky of Zen Connect. Stacy has devoted her energy to providing stress management tools that help to boost brainpower and reduce day-to-day stress to help people be more relaxed and fulfilled, while seeing a boost in productivity and performance.
