Auditions are open to all students, regardless of major.

Auditions are February 6 & 7 at 6 p.m. in the University Hall Theatre. Auditioners should prepare a modern comedic or dramatic monologue of one or two minutes. Rehearsals will begin February 12, with show dates of April 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 13.

From the publisher: “In the near-distant future, an NYC charter school becomes the first to welcome artificially intelligent students. However, new AI students Olive and Godfrey receive a chilly welcome from the already self-conscious and stressed-out members of the Junior class. When a reality show swoops in to capture this social experiment on camera, the priorities and moralities of the student body are turned inside-out. At turns both droll and touching, this dark new play questions how we reconcile the thin line between out ever-improving technologies and what it means to be human”

A copy of the play to review for preparation is available in the performing Arts office. Produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc.
