Recovery@UMB Planning Meeting

Recovery hands in a circle image
"Revolutions begin when people who are defined as problems achieve the power to redefine the problem" (McKnight, 1992).

"Recovery: A process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential."

A group of students in recovery met with Chancellor Motley in November to advocate on behalf of the need for a designated space on campus.  The Chancellor expressed his support, and  asked for a proposal.

You can support this initiative in two ways (or at least two ways).  Your voice is VERY IMPORTANT.

1) Join us for a meeting to talk about what should be in the proposal   2) and/or take a moment to express your support in writing.  Use the REGISTER NOW link to RSVP or leave a comment.  All information shared is confidential.

Refreshments  will be served. If you have any questions, ideas, or comments, please contact  Nate  or Linda Jorgensen. Visit our webpage here and see what other students have to say here
