Symposium to Explore Arts and Inclusion

The second annual Symposium on Art for Cultural Inclusion will take place at UMass Boston on Tuesday, November 22 from 12–7 p.m. This celebration of how art can help create social change is sponsored by the School for Global Inclusion and Social Development, and by Arts Connect International (ACI).

ACI's Artist Leaders will give TedX-style talks and demonstrations of their work. The event will include workshops and a reception, as well as the chance to view and buy art from the ACI artists and UMass Boston student artists.

The symposium will be taking place on several levels of the Campus Center, so follow the signs around the building to get to the various activities.
