Campus Center 1st floor terrace, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Build a "Quit Kit" for  yourself or for a friend who you would like to support or encourage to quit. UHS will provide the materials to make a Quit Kit. Every year, on the third Thursday of November, smokers across the nation take part in the American Cancer Society's Great American Smokeout. They may use the date to make a plan to quit, or plan in advance and then quit smoking that day. The event challenges people to stop using tobacco and helps people know about the many tools they can use to quit smoking for good.

Join the University Health Services Health Education and Wellness Program to learn how you can quit, or to support a smoker in quitting. Share your success if you have quit smoking, find information and tools to help you quit if you are a smoker, and find out how to support a smoker in their efforts to quit.
For more information, contact Linda Jorgensen, Director, UHS Health Education and Wellness program.

For disability-related accommodations, including dietary accommodations, please visit www.ada.umb.edu two weeks prior to the event.
