The Performing Arts Department announces open auditions for the spring theatre production, Polaroid Stories by Naomi Iizuka.

Auditions are open to the UMass Boston community, and Director Carrie Ann Quinn seeks to assemble a diverse cast for Naomi Iizuka's play. Polaroid Stories is "a visceral blend of classical mythology and real life stories told by street kids."

Auditions will be held February 9 and 10, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with callbacks on February 11 at 6 p.m.

Please prepare:

  1. A dramatic monologue (no more than 1 minute)
  2. An incredible true story about yourself (true or not--just be convincing)

Please note, Polaroid Stories is recommended for mature audiences only.
