Join us for our upcoming seminar on "Asking Questions about (Possibly) Sensitive Behaviors" from guest speaker Philip Brenner, PhD.  Philip is both a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Survey Research and an Assistant Professor of Sociology at UMass Boston.  His research focuses on the measurement of normative behaviors.  Topics for this seminar include:

  • Types of sensitive behaviors
  • Types of questions about sensitive behaviors
  • Current research on these questions
  • What can we do to improve validity in our measures?


The seminar will be held on Monday, April 8th, 2013 at 12 p.m. at the UMass Boston Healey Library, Lower Level in the Presentation Room 3.  Lunch will be served.
