In 2015, the City of Boston Archaeology Lab recovered 17,723 artifacts from the site of Dorchester's Industrial School for Girls. Two years later, City Archaeologist Joe Bagley partnered with Public History students at UMass Boston to uncover the stories of the women and girls who worked and lived at the school in the 1860's. Join us for our exhibit unveiling on May 10 to discover these fascinating histories and the extraordinary women who lived them.

This event is free and open to the public, and takes place from 4 to 6 p.m. Free parking is available. Contact Jane Becker with any questions.
