A discussion about how women from non-standard/diverse backgrounds can navigate politics, traditions, and laws that affect yet don’t     always take them into consideration when enacted.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Kim Tallbear is an UMass Boston Alumni. She currently serves as Assistant Professor of Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy at the University of California, Berkeley and is a Donald D. Harrington Fellow in Anthropology at the University of Texas, Austin.
