The winter session has been a busy one for construction on campus; students, faculty, staff, and visitors are urged to allow extra time when traveling to campus, particularly during the first few weeks of the spring semester.
University Drive East Lane Switches

Starting Thursday, January 23, vehicles will be directed to use the left lane of University Drive East for a 370-foot stretch along the General Academic Building No. 1 building site.
Lot D Closed for One Week Only

Parking Lot D will be closed starting Monday, January 20. It will reopen on the first day of the semester, Monday, January 27.

University Drive East Will Change to 1 Lane After Campus Center

Starting the weekend of December 7, University Drive East will become one lane only for a 370-foot stretch along the General Academic Building No. 1 building site, between the Campus Center and the Massachusetts State Archives building.

A crane arrived on the UMass Boston campus this week to start erecting steel columns and beams on the General Academic Building No. 1 site.
HarborWalk Detour for One Day Only on Nov. 29

Pedestrians, bikers, and joggers using the HarborWalk on Friday, Nov. 29, will be detoured for a few hundred feet onto University Drive near the Massachusetts State Archives, while construction crews work on utility drainage in that area.

Healey Library Roof Replacement and Waterproofing Project Set to Begin
