Who we are

The photography group was formed to connect OLLI members interested in photography.  We take photos on group outings and have an online forum for sharing photos, questions, and notices of interest to the group.  Our goal is to have fun while expanding the knowledge, skills, and interest in photography of each individual member.

Meetings/Outings

Meetings are held at least monthly while OLLI classes are in session.  The time, date and location of meetings vary depending on the activity planned. Our primary focus is to get out and take photos.  As a result, many of our meetings are at offsite locations throughout the Boston area.  We try to provide a mix of venues so that we can practice a variety of photographic techniques and accommodate our members' interests.  On occasion, we may hold meetings at UMass Boston to share and review our photos. Meeting venues are recommended by group members.  Public transportation is normally available.  If not, carpools are arranged where possible.

Online forum

We have established a private Facebook group to facilitate ongoing photo sharing and communication among our members.   All members are encouraged to join and participate in the forum.
