McCone Family Student Research Fund

The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance for undergraduate students at the university who wish to pursue research projects under the supervision of a member of the faculty of the Department of Biology. In furtherance of this purpose, the following guidelines are provided:
This fund may be used to provide financial assistance for purchase of laboratory equipment and supplies, field research supplies, access to printed and electronic source materials, communication, secretarial supplies, travel, presentation, and dissemination of findings.
Students assisted by this fund must be enrolled full-time to be eligible for funding and must be majoring in one of the Biology concentrations offered by the Department of Biology.
The awards process will be managed by the Biology Honors Committee. Awards will be made in response to written applications from undergraduate students.
Assistance from the fund can be provided to undergraduate student recipients for a maximum of two semesters.
