The Survey and Statistical Methods Core (SSMC)
The Survey and Statistical Methods Core (SSMC) is designed to provide access to qualitative and quantitative research expertise on projects focusing on cancer and cancer health disparities.
The goal of the SSMC is to ensure success of all U54 projects by making methodological resources available to investigators, trainees, fellows and faculty. Utilization of core services will provide the opportunity to:
- Enhance the quality and impact of original research;
- Foster skills of early career researchers in cancer related population research and the investigation of cancer-related health disparities;
- Increase collaboration among disciplines and between the research sites.
SSMC is a Core resource of the UMass Boston – Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center U54 Cancer Research Partnership.
