BEACON BEGINNINGS: ORIENTATION FOR NEW STUDENTS
So this is where you begin!
This summer you’ll step into your new shoes as a UMass Boston student at new student orientation—Beacon Beginnings!
You can look forward to a full orientation program, including fun social activities, registering for your fall classes, meeting professors and fellow new students, and getting a more inside look at the campus itself.
But first, you may need to complete a skills assessment so our advisors will be able to better help you register for courses during your orientation. Testing sessions began at the end of April.

Have you paid your New Student Deposit to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions yet? You must submit $200 prior to attending orientation. Don't forget!
