Getting Here

Welcome to UMass Boston's Office of Transportation Services

The University of Massachusetts Boston prides itself on academic excellence, diversity, and our commitment to serving students and the greater Boston community. We are always excited to welcome students, colleagues, and visitors to our dynamic campus, whether they be arriving by car, bus, bike, or foot.

We do encourage you to take public transportation to UMass Boston, especially during the opening weeks of the semester when traffic volume can be very high. Free shuttle buses are available at the JFK/UMass subway station, a stop on the MBTA's Red Line. For anyone choosing to drive and park on campus, discounted parking passes are available. Faculty and staff also have a pre-tax authorization option to pay for parking.

If you have any questions about getting to campus, whether it be about parking, transportation, or directions, please contact our Customer Service Center at 617.287.4000.
