  • Have you tried the Lean Library browser extension? It provides quick and simple access to Library-subscribed full-text content. Learn more about Lean Library and try it out!

Databases

The library Databases List is an alphabetical and searchable collection of records. These databases can be searched for articles, books, images, journals, newspapers, videos and more.

E-Books

Full-text electronic books are found in UMBrella from the search results page. Select Full Text Online under Availability and Books under Material Type. To search a specific collection, see the list of e-book collections. For information about using ebooks, see e-books and e-readers.

Journals

Use the UMBrella Journal Finder to search journal, magazine, and newspaper publications by periodical title (not the article title) to see if Healey Library has access to the publication. Be sure to check the available dates for each title, as some e-journals have limited coverage or full-text delay (known as an embargo). See our FAQ for instructions on how to search for the full text of an article. You can also use BrowZine to browse scholarly journals by subject. See our BrowZine research guide for more information.

Streaming Video

Find videos through UMBrella from the search results page. Select Video under Material Type. To browse a specific collection, see streaming video collections.
