Influencing Aging Policy
Description:
This course explores policy and practice issues related to providing this important community-based care to a widening range of elders. Students will learn to identify strategies for changing or preventing the change of a major public policy; to compare and evaluate those strategies based on different theories or models of change; and to propose a specific implementation plan for some portion of that strategy, including a plan for evaluation its effectiveness.
