Take some time to explore the campus and talk with our knowledgeable admissions counselors and UMass Boston students about academic programs, student services, housing options, and student life, as well as the application and financial aid processes.
Monday - Friday | 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.
The student-guided campus tour and counselor-moderated admissions information session take about two hours.
Showcase Saturday is a special way for you to visit UMass Boston on a weekend and learn more about us. The event includes an extensive tour of the campus, an in-depth information session, and an optional off-campus housing tour.
If you're curious and ambitious, attend our Thursday Honors College Information Session following the 10 a.m. tour on Thursdays.
The College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS) hosts special information sessions on several evenings throughout the year for their undergraduate programs including Exercise and Health Science, Traditional Nursing, Online RN to BS program, and Accelerated Nursing.
Transfer Open Houses, held bi-annually in the fall and the spring, are open to prospective transfer students and those who have been recently admitted to the university. Transfer Application Days, scheduled more frequently, are a great way to get some information and assistance with applying to UMass Boston as a transfer student.
At the UMass Boston Freshman Open House, our largest fall event, high school students and families get an opportunity to hear from faculty, staff and current students, and learn more about our academic programs, student life offerings, and much more.
One Saturday every spring, we host motivated high school students and their families for a few fun-packed hours with loads of valuable UMass Boston information.

Moms, dads, aunts, uncles, nanas, and grampas - we know you're a big part of the college experience. We offer special programs that speak to your specific concerns as a guardian. We hope to see you at one!
