Campus Tours, Info Sessions, and Special Admissions Events

UMass Boston's 177-acre campus is just minutes from downtown Boston and overlooks the sparkling waters of Boston Harbor. 

Spend a few hours walking the halls, talking to current students, eating in the dining hall, and sitting by the water just soaking it all in. 

With so many ways to visit UMass Boston, we look forward to having you on campus soon!

Campus Tours and Information Sessions

Come spend some time exploring the campus and talking with qualified admissions counselors and UMass Boston students about academic programs, student services, housing options, student life, and the application and financial aid processes.

Monday - Friday | 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.

The student-guided campus tour and admissions information session take approximately two hours. 

Weekend Visits: Showcase Saturdays

Showcase Saturday is a special way for you to visit UMass Boston and learn more about the university. The event includes an extensive tour of the campus, an in-depth information session, and an optional off-campus housing tour.

Honors College Information Sessions

If you're curious and ambitious, attend our Thursday Honors College Information Session following the 10 a.m. tour on Thursdays. 

Nursing Information Sessions

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS) hosts special information sessions on several evenings throughout the year for their undergraduate programs including Exercise and Health Science, Traditional Nursing, Online RN to BS program, and Accelerated Nursing.  

Transfer Student Events

Transfer Open Houses, held bi-annually in the fall and the spring, are open to prospective transfer students and those who have been recently admitted to the university. Transfer Application Days, scheduled more regularly and are a great way to get a hand applying to UMass Boston as a transfer student.

Open House

At the UMass Boston Freshman Open House, our largest fall event, high school students and families will get an opportunity to hear from current faculty, staff and students and learn more about our academic programs, student life offerings and more.

Spring Visit Day for Sophomores and Juniors

One Saturday every spring, we host motivated high school students and their families for a few hours packed with loads of UMass Boston fun and information. 

Welcome Days for Accepted Students

Congratulations - you got in! Now, take your next step toward becoming a UMass Boston student at Welcome Day. 

Parent and Family Programs

Moms, dads, aunts, uncles, nanas, and grampas - we know you're a big part of the college experience. We hold special programs that speak to your specific concerns as a guardian. We hope to see you at one!
