Catherine Lawlor holds a B.M and M.M with Honors from the New England Conservatory of Music. She was awarded a full scholarship and a teaching assistanship for graduate study. She has performed solo and chamber music concerts including performances at the Gardner Museum, Edward M. Pickman Hall (Longy School of Music), Kneisel Hall (Blue Hill, Maine), Dartington Music Festival (Devon, UK), and Brown University. Her revered teachers were Theodore Lettvin, Katja Andy, Tatiana Yamppolsky, and Arminda Canteros. She is also on the faculty at the New School of Music.
