Biography
Dr. Jin Sik Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Management Science & Information Systems at University of Massachusetts Boston. He earned his Ph.D. in Information Systems from UC Irvine. His research investigates how emerging digital technologies—AI, machine learning, and generative AI—affect value creation, decision-making, and innovation, with projects on human–AI collaboration, the economic impact of AI/ML, health IT adoption, and digital transformation.

Economic and organizational impacts of AI/ML and generative AI on industries including entertainment, travel, education, retailing, and healthcare, as well as cross-national industrial transformation.
