Mariana Becker
Biography
Dr. Lima Becker’s research investigates how immigrant children, families, and educators navigate language, power, and in/equity in multilingual and multicultural contexts. Her primary line of research leverages ethnographic methods to examine the implementation of Dual Language Bilingual Education (DLBE) programs and immigrant bilingual students’ educational experiences and language practices within these contexts.
