
Sarah Vogel
Biography
Dr. Vogel's research examines social and biological mechanisms by which early life experiences shape children's self-regulation skills. In particular her work aims to characterize the role of the microbiome-gut-brain axis in the development of cognitive and emotional skills underlying self-regulation, and examines how stressors and supports in children's social environments shape gut-brain communication across development.
