Mass Memories Road Show

The Mass Memories Road Show is a statewide, event-based participatory archiving program that documents people, places, and events in Massachusetts history through family photographs and stories.

Roadmap for Participatory Archiving

The Roadmap for Participatory Archiving (RoPA) guides libraries and cultural organizations through the process of collaborating with community members to plan engaging and inclusive participatory archiving events and to create digital collections.

Current Projects

Mass Memories and the University Archives and Special Collections team are hard at work bringing participatory archiving to partners across Massachusetts—our current work includes the Blackstone River Valley Participatory Archiving Project and a statewide community archives and digitization training program.
