Welcome to the ORSP
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) is dedicated to supporting faculty and research staff in obtaining and managing external funding for research, instruction, community service, and other creative and scholarly activities. We offer guidance and services for finding funding opportunities, developing competitive grant proposals, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing awards.
The ORSP's teams, Pre-Award, Post-Award, Research Compliance, and Department Research Administrators, are structured to provide specialized support and technical assistance to all applicants applying for external funding. Whether you are seeking funding for the first time or you've already obtained funding, the ORSP is here to work with you.
Grant Lifecycle
The grant lifecycle is a comprehensive framework that guides faculty and researchers from the initial idea stage through to the completion of a funded project. The ORSP plays a central role throughout the lifecycle, providing important guidance for departments navigating procedures and requirements at each stage to ensure successful and compliant research administration.
