Additional Information
Dr. Chris Leider is a former ESL teacher who has taught in Argentina and the United States. Her experiences growing up as a Filipina American and second generation immigration in southeast Alaska have largely shaped her pedagogical approaches and research perspectives. Chris is currently the Vice-President of MATSOL, the chair of the English Learner and Bilingual Advisory Council for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and the Associate Editor for the Journal of Multilingual Theory and Practice.
