
Elisa Guerrero
Biography
Elisa Guerrero (she/her) is the Community Engagement Manager for the Sustainable Solutions Lab and the Stone Living Lab. In her role, she helps foster relationships with community partners to ensure that meaningful community input is incorporated into both organizations’ initiatives and that their work is grounded in community needs and priorities.

Equitable community engagement, environmental justice, climate change, climate resilience, municipal and regional climate action.
Degrees
Elisa received her BS in Community and Environmental Sociology with a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin Madison and her MA in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University.
Additional Information
Elisa has focused her career on furthering local level climate mitigation and adaptation and creating opportunities for communities most impacted by climate change to bring their lived experience and expertise to climate planning. Prior to joining the Sustainable Solutions Lab and Stone Living Lab, Elisa worked as a Community Resilience Planner for Planning Communities, where she contributed to local and regional climate resilience projects across the country. During her graduate program she was an Environmental Planning Intern with MAPC and an inaugural fellow in the Tufts' Racial Equity in Policy and Planning program. She previously lived in Wisconsin, where she held roles as Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Monona and as Coordinator for the Foundation for Dane County Parks.
