Ellen Foust is an instructional designer supporting web-enhanced courses. Her personal goal is to guide each faculty at his or her own pace into the world of Blackboard, encouraging them to leverage the tools of the software rather than using it to park content. She believes strongly that pedagogy drives technology and works carefully with each faculty, listening to needs and brainstorming solutions. She holds an MA in art history and an MEd in instructional design from the UMass Instructional Design Program. Her professional interests include hybrid pedagogy, Open Course Resources, and voice communication in online environments.
