Biography

Fahimeh Chomachaei is an assistant professor in the Management Science and Information Systems department at the College of Management, University of Massachusetts Boston. She became a part of the department upon completing her Ph.D. from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2022. Her primary research areas include sustainable operations management, supply chain management, and data-driven decision-making. Her research is rooted in addressing real-world problems, utilizing analytical and empirical methods to explore issues at the intersection of business and the environment. Before starting her academic career, she worked as a business analyst and data scientist at consulting and EPC companies for five years.
