Reed M. Reynolds is an assistant professor of communication at University of Massachusetts, Boston. He studies mechanisms of social influence in the context of health behavior, misinformation diffusion, and social networks. His research uses theories of limited cognitive capacity, attribution, and emotion to explain how communication shapes socially relevant beliefs, motivations, and behaviors.
