Survey Overview

Our office has been conducting the First-year Student Survey, previously known as the Freshman Survey, since 2013. The survey is designed to learn about the first-time first-year students’ high school engagement, their expectations from UMass Boston for the coming year, potential difficulties during the first year, their academic preparedness, and financial concerns.
