Academias Escolares 2025
Durante las Academias Escolares, los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de visitar distintas universidades en Boston, participar en talleres de desarrollo profesional, aprender de profesionales multiculturales de distintas carreras, y disfrutar de otras actividades de enriquecimiento.
- Costo: MATRICULA GRATIS
- Requisitos:
- Ser actual estudiante de 7to-11mo grado.
- Récord físico y Vacunas actualizadas.
- Someter todos los documentos antes la fecha límite.
- Fechas: 18 al 21 de febrero y 22 al 25 de abril de 2025
- Horario: 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM
- Transporte: Padres/Guardianes serán responsables del transporte. El programa es accesible por transporte público en la estación de JFK/UMass. Allí el autobús gratis #1, lleva los estudiantes a la universidad.
- Almuerzo: Los estudiantes recibirán almuerzo y meriendas. Si lo desean, también pueden traer su propio almuerzo. Por favor infórmenos de cualquier restricción o alergia.
- Paseos (fechas sujetas a cambio): Estaremos tomando transportación publica para los paseos fuera de la universidad. Los padres/guardianes serán notificados de cualquier cambio a los planes.

School Year Academies 2025
During the 2026 School Year Academies, high school students will have the chance to participate in a 3-day paid academy where Theatre meets Social Justice. Students will have the opportunity to learn and support the Gastón Institute's research regarding gambling impacts on Latino families. Together we’ll use Theatre of the Oppressed to act out community challenges and test real solutions on stage!
- Cost: FREE
- Pay Information: $15/hr for a total of 13.5hours for the whole week. Requirements include:

- Must be enrolled in school
- Must be current 10th-12th grade student.
- Must be a Boston Resident
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Medical Physical and up-to-date vaccinations.
- If accepted, must complete and submit all onboarding and UMB applications by the deadline.

- Dates: April 21st, April 23rd, April 24th (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
- Schedule: 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM
- Transportation: Parents/Guardians are responsible for daily transportation. We are accessible via public transportation at the JFK/UMass Station. Free shuttles, #1, bring students to campus from the station.
- Food: Breakfast/Lunch/snacks will be provided. Students may also bring them from home. Please inform us of any restrictions.
