The Center for Governance and Sustainability provides state-of-the-art research, policy input, forum, and training tools to build a corps of professionals committed to academic excellence, public service, and innovative leadership in solving complex sustainability challenges from the campus to the global level. CGS seeks to develop a wide network of collaborators to advance policy-relevant governance and sustainability research activities. 

The center engages students, faculty, and staff across disciplinary, institutional, and political boundaries with research initiatives, including the Global Environmental Governance Project and Campus Sustainability.
