Forums, Teaching Workshops & Seminars

Spring 2023 Information about CIT Forums, Teaching Workshops, & Seminars here

CIT sponsors forums on critical pedagogical issues every semester. Forums consist of cross-disciplinary panel presentations and are open to all faculty, student, and staff members of the UMass Boston community. They provide opportunities for presenters and participants to share perspectives, engage in dialogue, and to collaborate across disciplines about critical and timely issues.

Please contact CIT if you would like to suggest or participate in a forum.

Teaching Workshops

The Center for Innovative Teaching (CIT), in conjunction with the Office for Faculty Development, hosted two workshops for new faculty on September 18 and 19 so that they could learn more about teaching on our campus. Denise Patmon, CIT Director/CEHD faculty and Alexia Pollack, CSM faculty facilitated. We have posted the materials from the workshops below.
