Ubiquitous Communications and Networking Lab at UMass Boston
The Ubiquitous Communications and Networking Lab focuses on future wireless networks and communication technologies with the goal of providing wireless network connectivity to all devices in all locations at all times. In particular, we are developing protocols and technologies centered around ultra-dense wireless networks. These technologies include optical wireless communications (OWC), heterogeneous networks (HetNets), and flexible / adaptive systems based on software defined radio (SDR).
