All workshops take place IN PERSON.

This workshop prepares students for the Foundations of Reading MTEL (test 90). The Foundations of Reading MTEL assumes that students have had coursework in language/literacy development as well as reading instruction. Students without any coursework in reading instruction will find the material on this examination challenging. Students should be prepared to devote additional studying time after attending the workshop in order to feel confident with the material.

The office will continue to accept checks or money orders at the page below, made payable to University of Massachusetts Boston. Registration is not complete until payment is received. Please note that this fee is non-refundable. However, it can be applied toward a future workshop. Payments can be mailed to 100 Morrissey Blvd. Boston, MA 02125 or dropped off in the Wheatley Building, 1st floor in room 050.

Workshop Policy

Each workshop requires a minimum of 10 students to run and has a cap of 20 students. Workshops with fewer than 10 students enrolled will be subject to cancellation.

Payment policy: The workshop cost must be received 5 business days prior to the workshop. Your registration is not complete until payment is received.

Workshop cost is non-refundable unless cancelled by the university. Students may reschedule to a future date if unable to attend their scheduled workshop.
