The levels of review and approval for each type of proposal are visible in Curriculog. This information is useful as it makes the review process transparent while also enabling faculty to track the movement of proposals throughout the governance process.

You can see how many levels of approval are required underneath each type of proposal. This quick summary will include all the levels of review that are mandatory. In some cases, the summary will indicate some levels of review that are not marked as mandatory. These additional steps refer to additional levels of review that are required for some proposals if they originate from CLA.                 

To see what each of these levels of review refers to, click on the proposal type. A list of the levels of review will appear on the right side of the screen with details about the governing or administrative body that each level of review refers to and the specific individual responsible for making each decision in the Curriculog system. If you have a question or concern about your proposal, you can use this information to see where your proposal currently sits in the governance process and to reach out to the person responsible for approving the proposal at this level of review.
