Charter

The Youth Program Coordinating Committee is comprised of key departments from Administration and Finance, Provost’s Office, and Student Affairs.  The Committee is charged with coordinating support services and promoting the best practices in summer youth programs sponsored by UMass Boston both on the main campus and off-site locations.  Duties include:

• Coordinating support services provided by UMass Boston
• Promoting continuous improvements in programs
• Develop and reviewing key policies, procedures and manuals
• Coordinating communications with program directors and UMass Boston departments

The Committee members and chair are appointed by the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance. The Committee will meet at least quarterly.  There may be additional meetings added during the months of May and June in preparation for the beginning of summer youth sessions.  EHS will provide administrative support to the committee including meeting minutes and draft agendas.
